Yesterday, we launched the first post in our nine-part series on Dr Marry’s progression into alcoholism and our journey back to sobriety together. To say that we are overwhelmed with the responses would be a gross understatement. We are truly humbled by the outpouring of support.
We wanted to give you a heads up of what is coming so you have some sense of how this is going to play out.
Every Saturday, from February 1 to March 28th, a blog post will come out, one from me, one from Dr Marry and back and forth. Every Tuesday, starting Feb 4, an accompanying video of the blog post will arrive. This will allow people to see and hear us go through this journey together as we listen to each other’s posts and then respond. Every Thursday, starting February 6, a podcast will post that allows us to reflect on the feedback we are getting. We absolutely won’t reveal any personal information from anyone who shares anything privately with us, so please keep those messages coming. They have been incredibly powerful, and we are honored that you are sharing such personal stories with us.
Special and heartfelt thanks to Patrick Kirby of Do Good Better Consulting for listening to my proposal for this series and taking it way beyond anyplace we could have imagined. Thanks to Lonna Whiting of Lonna.co for careful editing to make sure our content was readable. Thanks to Jay Evans of Off Color Productions for shooting some incredible photos and video. And, as always, thanks to my beloved Dr Marry for having the courage to say yes to this whole idea in the first place.
